There is a growing concern these days, the environment, and in many countries, the initiative taken to promote renewable energy to reduce humanitys impact on the planet. Canada is one of the country’s leading green technology and the use of biofuels has become one of the world have taken a leading role in the consumption of environmentally friendly fuels.

Liquid fuels produced from biofuels simply plant and animal materials. Because this matter is biodegradable, not only for the propulsion of vehicles and heating homes, but the waste, then re-absorbed into the earth, nurturing a new life can offer in the future of renewable energy sources.

Bio-ethanol, commonly referred to as only ethanol, the most common biofuels currently in production. Canadas federal government has taken note of ethanols possible alternative renewable energy sources, and created a plan to require gasoline to contain 5% ethanol by the end of this year. The plan would also require diesel fuel for at least 2% ethanol by the end of 2012th In fact, the provincial government of Manitoba has a leading role in the biodiesel industry, orders requiring the creation of a similar percentage, developed by the federal government as that will go into effect in 2010. This prevents a federal mandate for two years. Manitoba is known for its prairie lands, the plants grow there, and the animals graze on these plants. The amount of plant and animal materials available for production of biofuels is very high. Manitoba has inspired the British Columbia provincial government to adopt similar strategies.

Raven Biofuels Company Limited was established to research and technological development to facilitate the efficient and productive use of biofuels across Canada and British Columbia, they have identified as a starting point. Joining Raven Biofuels International Corporation (RBIC), the objective is to provide tax paid RBIC exclusive rights to develop biofuels in Canada. Their intention is to build the biorefinery first commercial plants and to Kamloops, British Columbia. Although it may seem like a monopoly or trust will emerge from this partnership, the goal is to lead by example and give advice to other potential business activities. The municipal partners in British Columbias provincial government to establish the strategy of British Columbia Bioenergy, which has already collected $ 25 dollars to support a network of bio focuses on promoting biofuels, energy technology not only for British Columbia but across Canada.
